Artificial intelligence designs an awesome LSU football helmet

LSU football features a helmet style that remains timeless. However, artificial intelligence conceptualized a design that we must see worn on the field.

Recently, a social media post featuring college football helmets reimagined by artificial intelligence (AI) caught our attention. As such, we flipped through more than 50 pages before landing on the LSU football helmet designed by AI.

Suffice it to say that the helmet design is fantastic.

AI conceptualized an LSU football helmet with a predominantly gold shell accented with purple tiger stripes. However, the concept’s tiger stripes are unlike those of the Memphis Tigers or Cincinnati Bengals. AI designed LSU football helmet stripes that mimic the proper pattern of a tiger’s coat.

Moreover, the helmet design features elements meant to replicate the texture of tiger fur.

The LSU football helmet design is a timeless classic that must remain unchanged. We have seen the Tigers wear predominantly white and purple versions of their helmet design in recent years. Regardless, the potential for LSU football to dramatically alter the look of their lids is out of the question.

However, we want to see the Bayou Bengals take the field wearing these AI-imagined beauties for at least one game.

We imagine such a design requires each helmet to be airbrushed; thus, the tiger stripes on each differ from the next. It is that attention to detail that makes an alternate helmet design unique.

Many LSU football fans will disagree with our desire to see the AI-designed look on the field. Among the biggest fan gripes is sure to be the lack of ‘LSU’ appearing on the shells. We also imagine the design is too fancy for the Death Valley traditionalists.

The AI-generated LSU football helmet is among the more realistic designs featured in the collection. Some designs include artwork that is confusing or does not make sense. Other designs feature unrealistic 3D elements, including raised details and protruding objects.

The AI designs result from a (human) user providing primary data regarding college football programs and requesting helmet concepts for each.
